Good afternoon families,
I have a couple of important announcements this week.
EPTOS Payments available
The Group is now able to accept Credit/Debit Card transactions and EPTPOS payments on a night. We have investigated the option due to the delays in Branch processing credit card payments.
The offering comes with additional costs to those wishing to pay this way;
- 2.4% for credit card transactions
- 30 cents for EFTPOS.
At this time, Anne is able to process the payments on a Friday night, and until Pauline is trained - which will be Tuesday week - due to my absence - we will offer it on Tuesday after this date.
You will require a PIN number with your cards as we can not take signed forms and manually process.
Statements will be updated shortly with the new charges and I sent out later today.
ACCOUNT LINKS
We have been advised your account links you have saved will not work. I will be send ing out new statements this afternoon with the new links. Our system provider did some upgrades and caused this issue. I apologise for the confusion caused.
FUNDRAISING HELP
- CAR BOOT SALE & CAR WASH
A4 Posters are available at teh den for putting up everywhere you can get one. Please help promote this event. We can fit 52 stalls in our grounds and I would love to be able to score close to this. But I need your help to promote.
Flyer for letterbox drops were handed out last week, please distribute. Unfortunately we only had 1000 produced due to the wrong flyer being sent. A second round will go out in the next two weeks of 2000 to be dropped.

- BEENLEIGH SPORTS CLUB RAFFLES
To date I have only 2 people on Friday August 22, and one person on Sat & Sun nights, with me as well. I need 7 on Friday, 5 on Sat & Sun. Please register your asssitance. It is 2.5 hours on Friday and 1.5 hours Sat & Sun.Potential to earn $2000 from these.
- ELIMINATORS HOT ROD SHOW CAR PARKING - 21 SEPTEMBER
If you have not already could you please nominate when you can assist with the working bee on August 22 or 23. Email was sent out to nominate but have had little response. Please complete the forms at the desks to show your support. We have a garden entrance to put together and the shed is having new shelving added plus some other odd jobs.Please mark this in your diaries. This is a busy day due to Cuboree starting. We normally seek the Scouts help with this as they require uniformed members helping. No Cub Scouts or Joey Scout can attend in uniform due to the dangers.With Ian (Hathi), Lisa (Jacala) and Christine (Kookaburra) plus myself all at Cuboree we need everyone else to pitch in please. It has in the past provided $1000 to the group.WORKING BEE
